Candace Kaigler, beloved mother, devoted servant, and lifelong resident of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on February 27, 1974, Candace was the daughter of Robert Johnson and Frances (Kaigler) Williams.

A dedicated public servant, Candace retired from the Indian River County Sheriff's Department after more than 25 years of exemplary service. Throughout her career, she worked tirelessly to protect and serve her community, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and those she served.

Candace was deeply committed to her Christian faith, which guided her in all aspects of her life. She was an active member of her church, where she served as the Assistant Director of Sunday School, taught Sunday School for young adults, and led the youth program. She also played an integral role in teaching the New Members class, sharing her faith and offering spiritual guidance to many. Candace was a prayer warrior, dedicating countless hours to praying for others, and she also provided counseling to victims of crime, sexual abuse, and outreach to teenagers and the homeless.

Outside of her professional and spiritual endeavors, Candace had many passions. She loved reading, watching movies, and playing tennis. She also enjoyed watching others play tennis and found joy in supporting her loved ones' athletic pursuits.

Candace's loving heart and selfless service to others will never be forgotten. She is survived by her two daughters, Vonisha Kaigler and Valeria Paris, both of Vero Beach, who were her pride and joy.

A private graveside service was held at Crestlawn Cemetery to honor her memory. Candace's legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Candace's memory to a charity supporting victims of crime or those in need.

Candace will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
