Carl Bartuccio, 89 of Vero Beach, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Indian River Medical Center. He was born in North Bergen, NJ and the first born son to Philomena and Rosario Bartuccio, Sr.

He was a loving father and was married 43 years to Donna J. Bartuccio until her death in 1992. He is survived by 3 sisters and 4 brothers, living in Florida, Michigan and Ohio; his son, Dale A. Bartuccio, and daughter, Darleen J. Bartuccio Smith, both of Vero Beach and 3 grandchildren.

Carl was in the US Army and served from September 1944 through September 1946. He served in the Philippine Islands and mainland Japan after the war ended.

After service to his country, Carl worked in the grocery business for 26 years at the former A&P, primarily as a produce manager. In his later years and until he stopped working, he was employed at Publix Supermarkets.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home. Following will be a Memorial Service at Grace Lutheran Church, 1150 41st Avenue, Vero Beach, FL at 3:00 PM. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, OH.
