Carlina "Beba" Masmontet 93, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 at VNA Hospice House. Born in Havana, Cuba on November 11, 1924, she had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1962.  She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend to many, she will be dearly missed.

Predeceased by her daughter, Lina Masmontet in 2013, and her brothers, Emilio and Carlos Lerma, she is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Hubert; grandsons, Ty Barnes of West Palm Beach, FL, Drew (Mariana) Barnes of Orlando, FL; Matt (Whitney) Barnes of Vero Beach; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Barnes and Thomas Rafael Barnes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Helen Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Helen Catholic Church, 2085 Tallahassee Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
