Carmella Maria Phillips, 88 of Sebastian, FL passed away July 26, 2009 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL.
She was born March 14, 1921 in Italy and was a resident of Sebastian since 1999 coming from Hollywood, FL.
Mrs. Phillips was a retired waitress, had worked for Westview Country Club for over 30 years and had volunteered for the Red Cross, the Food Banks, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Auxiliary of Sebastian River Medical Center and several Thrift Stores.
Survivors include her son Christopher Phillips of Atlanta, GA; daughter Jennifer Reilly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brothers Albert DeFilippo of Ocala, FL, Joseph Phillips of Sebastian, FL; sisters Josie Cannon of Stuart, FL, Eva Lewis of Sebastian, FL, Marie of Sebastian, FL, Teresa Goldsmith of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Roy L. Phillips and sister Cathy DeFilippo .

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian, FL with Dr. Rev. Ron Thomas officiating.
