Carol A. Henson, 71, of Vero Beach passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the University of Miami Hospital in Miami.
Mrs. Henson was born November 28, 1940 in New York, NY. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 1 year, coming from West Palm Beach.
Prior to her retirement she worked as a controller for Williams Bridge Manor nursing home in the Bronx, NY.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years James Henson; son Frank Henson of Carmel, NY; Denise Westervelt of Hoosick Falls, NY and Darlene Henson of Carmel, NY; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Services are planned for a later date in New York.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, FL. Online condolences may be sent at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
