Obit: Carol S. Campbell
Carol S. Campbell, of Vero Beach, FL, and formerly of Atlanta, GA and Meadville, PA, passed away from health complications on Saturday, July 30th, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL. Born in Meadville, PA on Jan. 10th, 1948, she is the daughter of the late Radford C. and Jeanne E. Smith (Record) of Meadville, PA.
Survivors include two sisters, Hazel (Frank) Grist of Paris Arkansas, and Cindy Kline of Meadville, PA, a brother, Larry (Louann) Smith of North Canton, Ohio, four nieces; Traci (Kremer), Jaimie Kline, Kerry Kline, and Sara (Neff), three nephews; Frankie Grist, Daniel Smith, and Loren Smith, several great nieces and nephews and devout friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Philip L. Smith.
Carol was a 1965 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and went on to work for several Federal Government positions in the Washington D.C. and Atlanta, GA areas, including NASA, The EPA, and FEMA before retiring to Vero Beach. Carol will be remembered most for her unconditional love of family and friends, and her outstanding art accomplishments with a paint brush.
A private memorial service will be conducted for her immediate family and close friends.
