Caroline Melissa Cleland Allen, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and "GG" gained her angel wings on Monday, March 16, 2015. Caroline was born in Lisbon, NY on January 4th, 1927.

Caroline received her RN degree at Suny Plattsburgh, NY. She also served in the United States Cadet Corps during WWII. Following that, she received her Master's degree in nursing, becoming a School Nurse Educator for the Monticello School district in Sullivan County, NY. It was there that she met her husband, Richard Allen, and predeceased her. She worked there until she retired in 1989, and then she moved to Florida with her family.

Caroline leaves a great legacy of love. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah & Louis Pugliani of Vero Beach, FL, three grandchildren, Daniel Pugliani of Prattville, Alabama, Elisabeth Howells of Sebastian, FL, and Melissa Fisk of Vero Beach, FL, and twelve grandchildren.

Caroline was also predeceased of her grandson, Peter Pugliani.

A private celebration of Caroline's life was held in her memory.
