Caroline S. Pfeiffer, 99, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 with her family by her side.

She was born on September 21, 1926 to the late Benjamin A. and Anna E. Sleeper and grew up in Burlington and Brant Beach, NJ.

Caroline graduated from Burlington High School in 1943 and earned an Associate Degree in Business from Peirce College in Philadelphia, PA in 1946.  After graduation, she worked for nine years in New York City as a Media Buyer.

In 1955 she met and married the late Edwin W. Pfeiffer.  Over the next 56 years they lived in New York, Westfield, NJ, Tulsa, OK, Buffalo, NY, Dallas, TX, Barrington, RI, Washington, DC and Sacramento, CA where Ed managed television stations and together they raised two daughters.  After retiring, Caroline and Ed lived in Osterville, MA, Hendersonville, NC and Vero Beach, FL.  Along the way Caroline was very active in volunteer work for a variety of hospitals and Episcopal churches.  She was an avid golfer, tennis player and skier, an excellent bridge player and greatly enjoyed quilting, knitting, needlepoint and a good puzzle.

Caroline is survived by her daughters Suzanne Pfeiffer of Chicago, IL and Christine Pfeiffer (Kevin Moser) of Eatontown, NJ.

Services will be private.
