Carolyn Sturtz, 73, of Basinger, FL passed away at her home May 28, 2022 after a  battle with cancer.

She was born January 23, 1949 in Orlando, FL to Melvin and Myrtle Gillis. She grew up  and lived most of her life in Basinger / Okeechobee, FL

Carolyn enjoyed making crafts, sewing, baking and yard sales.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Melvin Gillis; Mother, Myrtle Gillis; Brother, Leo  Gillis; Brother, James Gillis; and son Darryl Williford.

She is survived by her husband, love and best friend of 44 years, Harry (Bud) Sturtz;  Daughter- Sheila Julian (Mike Abraham); Brother- Randy Gillis (Nadine); Sister- Connie Gillis; Brother- Steven Gillis (Violet); Grandson-- Kevin Julian (Felicia); Grandson- Ethan  Julian; Step Granddaughter- Maceon Abraham; 2 Great Grandaughters; 2 Step Great  Grandsons; Nieces and Nephews.

A family gathering will be held in her memory at a future, undetermined date.
