Catherine May Masiello Fernicola, 88 of Fort Pierce, formerly of Wayne, New Jersey, passed away on May 21, 2020.

Born January 18, 1932, in Paterson, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Rinaldo Masiello and Mary Glorioso Masiello.

Catherine was a member of First Church of God (Pathway Church), and most recently attended services at Harbor Place Assisted Living by Savannah Church. She enjoyed Bible study, painting, bowling, golfing and cooking for her family.

A homemaker first & foremost, Catherine also worked alongside her husband at the family retail store, selling vacuums and janitor supplies .

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Adeline Barski, and Delores Mueller.

Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Eugene V. Fernicola; children, Eugene R. Fernicola (Kris) and Mary Wysocki (Dan); seven grandsons, Ricky, Michael, Thomas, Nicholas, Jason, Daniel & Timothy; four great-grandchildren, Harley, Addison, Stella & one on the way; and many other loving family and friends.

Due to the current restrictions, a private family memorial will take place followed by interment in South Florida National Cemetery.
