Charles Ford's Obituary
Charles Owen Ford, 87, of Fort Pierce died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Fort Pierce, FL of age related illnesses.
Charles was born November 28, 1924 in Stevensville, MD. He was the son of the late Charles "Owen" and Carrie Lavinia Whitby Ford.
Charles was a long time waterman, chartering fishing parties on the Chesapeake Bay for 43 years on his boat the Fran-Cee. He retired in 1990, moving from Kent Island, Stevensville, MD to North Hutchinson Island, Ft. Pierce, FL and enjoyed fishing for pleasure.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Frances Holden Ford; daughter Diane (Jeff) Arthurs of Uhrichsville, OH; son Dennis (Carol) Ford; sister Mary Agnes Engle; brother Ted Ford; two grandchildren Keith Arthurs and Jennifer Bronson; four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers John and Francis, and his sisters Barbara and Christine.
