Charles B. Gordon, 93, of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of Oyster Bay, NY, passed away December 29, 2018.

He was born May 22, 1925, in Valley Stream and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 2003, coming from Oyster Bay.

Mr. Gordon was a veteran of the United State Navy.  He was the former owner of Maine Maid Inn in Jericho, NY and member of the Jericho-Brookville Lions Club.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife of 59 years, Carol of Vero Beach; children, Gary Gordon of Vero Beach, Gregory Gordon, and Valerie (Steven) Peterson of Sebastian, FL and grandson, Robert Peterson of Sebastian, FL.

At the request of the family, there will be no services.  Inurnment will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL.
