Charles Joseph Griesbach, 81, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015. He was born March 26, 1934 in Cliffside Park, New Jersey to Claire and Charles Griesbach and raised in New Jersey. An Army veteran, he was sent to France to serve his country. He married his wife, Jane on September 8, 1956 and they raised their family on the Connecticut shoreline. A longtime manager in the printing and packaging industry, he proudly worked at Scott & Daniells, Inc. of Portland, CT for twenty years, retiring as Vice President of Manufacturing in 1996 and subsequently moving to Florida. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane in 1996 and his brother, Robert in 2004. He leaves behind his son, David Charles and wife Susan of East Haddam; his daughter, Elin Jane and his beloved granddaughter, Leah Jane, both of Rockport, MA. He also leaves his sister, Joan Claire Spitz of Whiting, NJ and his nieces and nephews, Susan, Kathleen, Joan, Jack and Charles and their families.
