Charles Daniel Gunther, 84 of Sebastian, Fl died December 23, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Gunther was born July 22, 1925 in New York City, NY and moved to Sebastian 6 years ago from Jasper, FL.
He retired as a Lieutenant from the Coral Gables Police Department and was a member of the Fellsmere Historical Church, the Florida Fraternal Order of Police and the VFW. He was a veteran of WWII having served with the US Army.
Survivors include his son, Charles D. Gunther, Jr of Spring City, TN; a daughter, Donna Burtrem of Sebastian, FL; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Ebbie Ball Provenzano.
