Charles E. Kicklighter (78) passed away on February 3, 2024 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.

Charles, Papa Charlie, Uncle Charlie, C.E. -  was born to Jesse and Billy Kicklighter on Aug. 12, 1945. He began his career as a surveyor for the Florida State Dept. of Transportation and worked his way up there for 20 years, retiring as a Civil Engineer.

Charlie is survived by his wife Gladys, his two daughters Christy and Karen, Gladys' son Mike and daughter Denise, five grandchildren and his sister Daisy Richardson.

Charlie lived his life on his own terms and spent the later years of his life in the woods, doing what he enjoyed – hunting, shooting, observing nature, and going to local football games.

The family will have a graveside service Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 at 11:00 am at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
