Charles V. Kwiatkoski (Charlie K.), 86 of Vero Beach, FL passed away on January 28, 2016 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Charlie was born to the late John and Anna Kwiatkoski in Plymouth, PA in 1929. Charlie was the youngest of seven children. Charlie proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Manchester during the Korean War. After he was honorably discharged. When he returned he attended Bloomsburg State Teachers College where he met Janet Ference, his wife of 48 years, who preceded Charlie in passing in 2004. Charlie started his career as a history teacher to high school students in California and then he moved to New Jersey where he became a guidance counselor and football coach. He retired from Watchung Hills Regional High School in Sterling, NJ.
He is survived by two children: a daughter, Cheryl Middleton of Baltimore, MD and a son, Robert (Big Bob) Kwiatkoski of Nags Head, NC, his Life Partner, Bonnie Stone of Vero Beach, FL and his sister, Jean Federovich of Seymour, TX.
