Charles H. Landefeld, III, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, October 22, 2010 at Consulate Health Care.
He was 77 years old. Charles was born May 9, 1933 in Hollywood, FL and had been a resident of Vero Beach for eight years.
He attended Lawrenceville Prep. School in Princton, New Jersey and Graduated from Yale University. He joined the United States Air Force and was a Provis Marshall, stationed in the 504th Bomb Squadron during the Korean War. Charles worked as a Stock Broker for many years in Boca Raton, Forida. After retiring as a Stock Broker, he owned and managed several furniture stores. He then retired and moved to Vero Beach, Florida.
He is survived by his long time companion Dottie Durhan, 4 children, Susan Sorrenson, Tracy Guptill, Charles Henry Landefeld IV, Robin Landefeld and eight grandchildren.
