Charles Larry McIntire, 64, of Port Saint Lucie, FL died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at his home in Port Saint Lucie.
Mr. McIntire was born October 24, 1946, in Hillsboro, TX and has been a resident of Port Saint Lucie, FL for the past 1 ½ years, coming from Pembroke Pines, FL.
He is a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a technician for Bell South in Hollywood, FL for 35 years. He was also a member of the NHRA, Martial Arts, Certified Diver and Golden Gloves Boxer.
His survivors include his wife of 40 years Joyce McIntire of Port Saint Lucie, FL; mother Helen McIntire of White Settlement, TX; son Lee McIntire (Jennifer) of Parkland, FL; daughter Lisa Hidalgo (Mario) of Royal Palm Beach, FL; brother Bobby McIntire of Keller, TX; sister Sharon Roberts of White Settlement, TX; grandchildren, Kian, Skyler, Shayly, Fox, Jeg, Dylan, Gabriella, Nicole, Mariajose, Leia and 1 great-granddaughter Fiorella.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, FL, 33449 with Military Honors to follow. The family will receive friends between 12:00 - 1:00pm.
