Charles Joseph McKenna Jr.

Charles Joseph McKenna Jr., 83, of Sebastian died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at The Place at Vero Beach. Mr. McKenna was born July 28, 1928 in Providence, RI. He had been a resident of Sebastian for 10 years, coming from Rhode Island. He worked as a merchant marine, and retired as a Master Engineer.
He attended Saint Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian. Survivors include his wife of six months, Dorothy McKenna; daughters Leslie McKenna, Johnsie McKenna, Barbara Latham and Martha Pugliese; son Michael McKenna; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn McKenna.Services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
