Charles Chidi Okororie was born on November 20, 1972 in his native country of Nigeria. He was a self made businessman in his country of origin with quite a successful business in clothing design and textile.
Charles' first son, Darlington Okororie was born in 1998. Shortly after the birth of his first child, he migrated to the United States, settling in Atlanta GA. where he met and married Veronique Worrell. Together they had 2 children, Jordan and Jasmine Okororie.
Charles lived and worked in Atlanta, GA. with his family for 13 years. He worked as an independent contractor and furnished a small business of car sales.
As a member of Overcomers Christian Fellowship, Charles was eager in his service to God and had great faith in difficult times and daring situations.
On Thursday, February 10, 2011, after a prolonged illness, Charles Chidi Okororie went to be with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his father, Augustine Okororie.
He leaves behind to treasure his precious memories; wife, Veronique Worrell of Vero Beach, FL; sons, Uzoma Darlington Okororie of Nigeria, Africa & Jordan Okororie of Vero Beach, FL; daughter, Jasmine Okororie or Vero Beach, FL; mother, Madam Nkemnasom Okororie of Nigeria, Africa; brothers, Ifeanyi Joseph Okororie of Nigeria, Africa, Onyeka Festus Okororie of Nigeria, Africa & Uche Ignatius Okororie of Nigeria, Africa; sisters, Ifeoma Catherine Olufunsho & Chimuanya Charity Okororie both of Nigeria, Africa; uncles, Gogo Okororie & Osita N. Okwuosha; aunt, Lady Millicent Azogu and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.
Services: A memorial service will be held 11-1:00PM on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.
