Charles E. "Skip" Robinson, 81, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Indian River Medical Center.
Mr. Robinson was born September 7, 1930 in Frankfort, MI. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 21 years, coming from Gaylord, MI.
Attended Michigan College of Mining & Technology now the Lake Superior State University. He worked for the Michigan Department of Transportation for 39 years.
He retired as a Registered Civil Engineer, and had received many awards for his road design and building.
He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Vero Beach.
Skip was a life member of the Masonic Grand Lodge in Michigan.
Survivors include his wife Nancy; daughter Laura K. Robinson from Lena, WI; sons, Charles E Robinson III (Debra) from South Elgin, IL and David L. Robinson (Andrea) from Gaylord, MI; sister Norma McKinney of Seattle, WA; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Evelyn Robinson, one daughter, Margaret Sue Allen and one son Andrew Kenneth Robinson, two sisters Evelyn Kay Robinson and Kay Ann Tezak.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the
1st United Methodist Church in Vero Beach. Dr. Charles Lever will officiate. Interment
will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Gaylord, MI.

River County at 2300 5th Avenue, Suite 150, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
