Charlotte Trueworthy Ford, 86, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019.

She was born on November 5, 1932, to the late John Wesley Trueworthy and Cornelia (Van Aernam) Trueworthy in Albany, New York.  She graduated from Columbia High School in East Greenbush, New York in 1950. She married William S. Ford on December 1, 1951.  They lived in South Hadley and Westfield Massachusetts before moving to Vero Beach in 1985.

Charlotte, along with her husband, Bill, and family, owned and operated Ford Wire and Cable Corporation, Roseland, FL, until 2010 when they retired. Charlotte was active in their Vero Beach Aerodrome community.  She was also past matron of the Eastern Star in South Hadley, Massachusetts.

Charlotte loved to travel and took many trips in the US and other countries with her husband and friends.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, William S. Ford, of Vero Beach. She is also survived by her children, Deborah G. Ford of Vero Beach, Laurie Ford Russelburg of Spring, Texas, and Stephen J. Ford of Naples, Florida.  She was predeceased by her son, Dale W. Ford of Vero Beach.  She leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be invited to a memorial service to celebrate Charlotte's life to be held at a future date in Vero Beach, Florida.
