Christopher Ekonomou, 86, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Ekonomou was born November 28, 1923 in Canton, OH and moved to Vero Beach 43 years ago from Melbourne, FL.
He was a general building contractor and a veteran of the WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Ekonomou was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner, a member of the Order of AHEPA and a member of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Pierce, FL.
Survivors include his wife Kathryn Ekonomou of Vero Beach and brother Anthony Ekonomou of Brandon, FL.
Services: No services are planned at this time.
