Claire B. Thibeault (nee Bibeau, Chartier, Duffy), 84, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2015 at the Grace Rehabilitation Center. Formerly of Connecticut and Massachusetts, Claire retired to Vero Beach to be closer to family members. She was a long-time communicant at the St. John of the Cross church. Her husbands, Robert Duffy and Leonard Thibeault and three of her brothers, Jean, Alexander, and Donat Bibeau predeceased her. Claire is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Marty Chartier of Chicopee, Massachusetts; her daughter Nicole Descheneaux of Bristol, Connecticut; brother and sister-in law Fredrick and Christa Bibeau of Vero Beach; and sisters-in-law Kathy Bibeau of Alexandria, Virginia and Gretchen Bibeau of Port St. Lucy, Florida.

For many years, Claire was a licensed beautician then retired from the Union Carbide Company and took up residence at Heron Cay in Vero Beach. She was a cat-lover and enjoyed needlecrafts and painting among other quiet pursuits. Claire valued time spent with her friends and family and will be missed by all who knew her.
