Clara Stallings Hart, 94, of Vero Beach, Florida died August 1st, 2013 at VNA Hospice House. Born in Rising Fawn, Georgia, Clara grew up in Rome, Georgia where she met her husband of 33 years, Jasper "Jap" W. Hart. She began working as a teenager in Rome, retired from the Fulton County Medical Examiners office in Atlanta, GA and then continued to work part-time into her eighties.

Clara is survived by her sons Jasper "Jay" W. Hart of Vero Beach and John E. Hart, spouse Judy, of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Jap and her daughter as well as best friend, Lynnette Mitchell of Columbus, Georgia, preceded her in death.

Clara was a generous and loving life force, and her family always came first. She had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed singing, often with spontaneous operatic bursts, and found great peace at the ocean. The family wishes to thank Clara's friends at Green Gables of Vero Beach where she resided and Christ by the Sea United Methodist Church where she was a member.
