Obit-Clara Pruitt ONeal
Clara Pruitt ONeal, 98, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Consulate Health Care of Melbourne.
Clara was born September 5, 1909 in Cartersville, Ga. and had been a resident of Melbourne for 65 years coming from her birthplace.
During her lifetime, she managed Havenaire Motel in Downtown Melbourne; and during WW11
she managed, for her brother (James H. Pruitt) while he was overseas, the Highland Court Motel; and she was employed by Dixieland Drapery and Carpet as a custom seamstress.
She is survived by nephews Marshall Cantrell, Lonnie Pruitt, and Michael Pruitt all of Melbourne, and Huel Pruitt of Ft. Meyers; nieces, Tanya Pruitt Herbert and Judy Caldwell of Melbourne, and Theresa Joyner of Ft. Meyers. Clara is also survived by a nephew and several nieces in Georgia and in South Carolina
A visitation will be held at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2008 from 5 to 7 PM . A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, Ga. where Parnick -Jennings Funeral Home is in charge.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Wuesthoff Hospice.
