Obit: Clarence William LHommedieu
Clarence William LHommedieu, 77, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at his home.
Mr. LHommedieu was born June 23, 1932 in Manhasset, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1974 from Savanna, GA.
He had been a Repair Control Analyst for Grumman Aerospace in Beth Page, NY, Savanna, GA and Stuart, FL retiring after nearly 40 years of service. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach and a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Navy. Mr. LHommedieu was a member of the American Legion, the EAA War Birds and a volunteer with the Stuart and Lakeland Air Shows.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Cecelia LHommedieu of Vero Beach, three sons, William LHommedieu of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, David LHommedieu of Beaverton, OR and Craig LHommedieu of Sebastian, FL; a sister Joanne Bourne of Stuart, FL; and three grandchildren.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday, December 28, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 3918 of Vero Beach.
