Clifford Charles Honeycutt passed away the morning of March 28, 2019, in Vero Beach, Florida, surrounded by his family. Cliff was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1952, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to Mary "Geri" Whalen Honeycutt and the late Cecil "Pete" Honeycutt.
Cliff followed his family when they moved to Vero Beach in his early 20s. He was a carpenter by trade and helped build many beautiful homes in Vero Beach as well as the St. Mark's Anglican Church on 45 th Street. He enjoyed camping trips to the Florida Keys with friends and family and fishing on Blue Cypress Lake. He and his wife even worked together to create a Key West atmosphere in their back yard, complete with a tiki bar, Koi pond and miniature beach area. Cliff was known for his great sense of humor and artistic flair.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife Diana, and children Sheila Honeycutt, Sarah Manchester O'Quinn, Wendy Manchester, Howard Manchester and Bonnie Mixon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Cliff was the eldest of four children and will be dearly missed by his brothers Curt and Carl Honeycutt and sister Lisa Sutherland.
A celebration of life will be held at Cliff and Diana's home, 3465 2nd Street Vero Beach, Florida, 32968, at a yet to be determined date.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the entire staff of VNA Hospice for their compassion and service. In lieu of flowers, the family is gratefully accepting donations made out to Diana Honeycutt to help cover medical expenses.
