Clifford 'Keith' Taylor, age 85, of Vero Beach, Fl, passed away on Nov 1st, 2018 following a recent diagnosis of lung cancer. He was born Jan 17, 1933 in Glenwood, Iowa, to Clifford Harry and Myra Ruth (Osborne) Taylor. Keith graduated from Glenwood High School Class of 1950. He spent the first years of his working life in sales and marketing and lived in many areas of the country due to job promotions. In 1980 he left the corporate world and moved to Vero Beach where he became a real estate broker and started a new career in real estate development and sales.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, loved traveling, boating, gardening, watching college football, and reading. He was known to enjoy a glass of fine single malt scotch or a great bottle of red wine. But most of all he loved his family and he loved hanging out with his little Cairn Terrier Katy who was always by his side.
He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Susan Bratton Taylor. He is also survived by his first wife, Barbara Boyer and their three children, Jeffrey Keith (Kelly) Taylor, Matthew Steven (JoAnna) Taylor, and Pamela Sue (the late Phil) Taylor Wallace. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960 on Thursday, Nov 29, 2018 at 11AM. Refreshments will follow the service.
