Clyde Plott, 82, of Port Saint Lucie, FL died Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce, FL.
Mr. Plott was born February 4, 1930 in Baltimore, MD. He had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 10 years, coming from Ohio.
He was a battle wounded Korean War Veteran, and served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant. Clyde was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Plott was a parishioner at Morningside Friends Church in Port Saint Lucie. He was a life long Christian who put his trust in Jesus Christ.
Prior to his retirement he sold real estate and was an antiquities dealer.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kathryn; sons, Clyde W. Plott of AZ, Gary Wise of San Diego, CA, Christian Hoffman of Aurora, CO and Dr. Matthew Hoffman of Burlington, IA; daughters Ann Hoffman of San Diego, CA, Linda M. Hrezo of Carlsbad, CA, and Cynthia Eberhardt of Leetonia, OH; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services: A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00AM, with a service beginning at 10:00AM on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Morningside Friends Church. Interment will follow at 2:15PM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
