Andrew Johnson, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, January 16th, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Johnson was born in Dedham, MA and moved to Vero Beach in 1996 from his place of birth.
He attended Williams College and the University of Georgia. He retired from Stone & Webster Corp. in 1980 after a long career as a nuclear power plant engineer. Mr. Johnson served in the United States Navy as an aircraft commander and was a Naval Reserves pilot for twenty-five years. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sophia Johnson of Vero Beach, daughters Jennifer Constantin of Scarsdale, NY and Andrea Bernard of Vero Beach and four grandchildren.
Services: Interment will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Panagia Vlahernon Greek Orthodox Monastery, 12600 West Highway 318, Williston, FL 32696.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Monastery in his name.
