Corey passed away from prolonged complications related to an automobile accident 41 years ago.
Corey was born May 19, 1952, in Long Island, New York, She lived most of her life in Port Salerno, Florida, and was a graduate of Martin County High School, "Fighting Tigers," class of 1972.
Though confined to a wheelchair, her spirit, faith, and friendship never wavered. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and nurturing others, despite her own ailments. Corey love to talk, and would tell her life story to anyone who would listen.
She leaves behind a daughter Domenica Valvo, Sisters Kim Metzger, Holli Hardwick. Brothers Ronald Delavalle, Jason & Jarrad Stiles, cousins Ed & Jack, nieces, nephews, and devoted family and friends.
Corey is predeceased by her loving mother Marilyn and father Stanley Donn.
A Memorial Service is planned for later date. In her honor, a monetary contribution can be made to the Port Salerno Commercial Fishing Dock Authority Inc. Po Box 567, Port Salerno, Florida 34992.
