Coyla Marlene Ritz Boob
Vero Beach, Florida

Coyla Boob, 86, of Vero Beach, died Monday, April 25 with her family by her side. Born to the late William Joseph and Mildred Walker Ritz on December 14, 1935. Coyla graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, Pa. July 22, 1954, Coyla married Robert (Bob) Boob Jr. of Loganton, Pa. Coyla and Bob were blessed with two children Randy Alan Boob and Barbara Sue Boob. January 1961 their family moved to Vero Beach, Fl. following the transfer of Piper Aircraft. Coyla continued her education at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969, her Masters of Education in 1979 and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Coyla went on to serve as a teacher and administrator for the Indian River County School system until her retirement. In addition, she worked for FAU as a faculty member overseeing student teacher interns covering several counties. Coyla was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach where she performed as Sunday school teacher, youth leader and Bible studies teacher. Coyla was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Vero Beach Garden Club and Retired Educators of Indian River County. She enjoyed her extended years singing with the Silver Tones of Vero Beach.

Coyla is preceded in death by her father (William), mother (Mildred), brothers (Joseph and Robert) and sisters (Leah, Barbara and Linda). She is survived by her husband Bob Boob, son Randy Boob (wife Charlene) and daughter Barbara Boob Brooker (husband Lynn) and her brother William Waite. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robert Brooker (wife Ruth), Charles Brooker, Gretchen Boob Northcutt (husband Walter), Reghan Boob Boehmke (husband Austin) and Bradford Boob (wife Kristi) along with ten wonderful great-grandchildren.

There will be no local services, her ashes will be taken to Pennsylvania by the family at a later date. Anyone wishing to send family cards of condolences may do so at: Robert Boob, 4150 Indian River Blvd. Apt #243, Vero beach, Fl. 32967.
