Cynthia P. Bucacci's Obituary
Cynthia P Bucacci, 66, of Vero Beach, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 with her husband of 45 years at her side.
She was born to the late John and Claire Payne on May 29, 1952 in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Cynthia graduated from Pawtucket West High School in 1970 and went on to the Massachusetts College of Art and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1974. Cyntia married Salvatore J. Bucacci Jr. and they lived in Rehoboth, Massachusetts for 38 years, before moving to Vero Beach, Florida.
Cynthia taught Art Education on the high school level for 16 years prior to transitioning into Early Childhood Education. Prior to her retirement, Cynthia was "School Age Program Director" for the Warehan Early Childhood Eduation and Care Corporation.
Cynthia loved to travel, work in her garden and home décor.
Cindy is survived by her husband Sal(Salvatore) of Vero Beach and her daughter Jocelyn Dunn of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren.
A visition will be held on Thursday, June 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral home. A Funeral Mass will held at St. Helen's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. On Friday June 15. Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday June 16.
