Daniel F. M. Hatch, Sr., of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the VNA/ Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Hatch was born May 8, 1937 in Binghamton, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1945 from his place of birth.
He had worked for Piper for 29 years before going to work at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in Ft. Pierce, FL for 12 years as a prototype machinist. Mr. Hatch was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and had served in the US Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years Rosemarie Cali Hatch of Vero Beach; daughter Theresa Ann Simmons of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sons Daniel F. M. Hatch, Jr. (Traci) and Joseph D. Hatch both of Vero Beach; and five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter Catherine Marie Myers in 2005.
Services: The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL.
