Stevens, Daniel C. 27. Danny's life was taken by a senseless act of violence on August 22, 2013 in Vero Beach, FL.
Danny grew up in Coral Springs and attended area schools. Perhaps what family and friends remember most about Danny was his startling sense of humor. It was spontaneous and easily got your attention. He was hilarious. Danny's favorite comedians helped shape his humor: Bill Hicks, Mitch Hedberg, Seinfeld and Carlin. He could recite verbatim scenes from "The Godfather", "Airplane!" and "The Big Lebowski." Trusting to a fault, Danny knew many people he considered friends. His quick wit, handsome smile and generous heart will be so missed. Danny loved his family, his friends and The Miami Dolphins, although not always in that order.
He is survived by his mother Teri Griffin Stevens, Brother Jason, (Shannon) Stevens and Sister Andrea Stevens. Uncles John, (Sally) and Robert Stevens, Joseph (Denise), Dennis and Kevin Griffin, Aunt Patricia Griffin, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends survive Danny as well.
A service will be held at The Boca Raton Cemetery and Mausoleum on Friday, November 1st at 1pm. Danny will be placed next to his father, Tom Stevens, who passed in 2006.
The family requests no flowers but a donation to HALO No Kill Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated. halorescuefl.org, 710 Jackson St. Sebastian, FL 32958.
"That rug really tied the room together, did it not?" Walter from "The Big Lebowski."
