Daniel Jason Walker, 32, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his home.

Mr. Walker was born September 8, 1979 in Vero Beach, FL and was a lifelong resident.

He had worked in customer service for Winn Dixie in Vero Beach and was a member of Central Assembly of God in Vero Beach. He was a 1998 graduate of Vero Beach High School and a hot rod enthusiast.

Survivors include his mother Akemi Forde Walker of Vero Beach; sister Kristy (Jan Michael) Kenney of Vero Beach; paternal grandmother Ella Ludwig of Vero Beach; maternal grandparents Cliff and Hisa Forde of San Diego, CA; niece Sloane Kenney, nephew Walker Kenney both of Vero Beach; uncle and aunt Mitchell and Sylvia Miller of Vero Beach; aunt Patty (Rick) Hills of Vero Beach; and aunts Lisa Forde and Pamela (Bob) Ford both of San Diego, CA.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Allen Walker on October 3, 2010.

Services: The family will receive friends 4-8 PM, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 and 9-11 AM, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Life Celebration Service will begin at 11 AM at the funeral home following the visitation on Wednesday with Pastor Buddy Tipton of Central Assembly of God officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
