Danny Leasure,60, of Vero Beach, went to be with the Lord on January 4th with his wife and daughters by his side.
He was born on August 22nd, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio. Danny was adopted by the late Howard and Agnes Leasure of Logan, Ohio in 1962. Danny graduated from Logan High School in 1974. He also played college Tennis for Ohio University Lancaster, and was an avid pool player, winning many local tournaments. He married Pamela Meyer on December 30th, 1978 and they lived together in Logan, Ohio, before relocating to Lancaster Ohio, and later to Waverly, Ohio. In January 2012, they retired to Vero Beach, Florida.
Danny entered into the Apostolic ministry in 1987, and pastored the Living Word Tabernacle in Pike County, Ohio for 17 years, until his Retirement in 2012.
He is survived by his wife Pamela (Meyer) Leasure of 38 years. He is also survived by his children, Lynn (James) Harrison of Tampa FL; Angelina (Billy) Glass, of Waverly, OH; Jessica (Damon) Horn, of Waverly, OH; Michelle (Chad) Komarnicki, of Vero Beach, FL, and 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Debbie (Jeff) Sprague, of Palm Bay, FL; Mark (Candy) Strong of Columbus, OH; Thomas (Jackie) Strong of Columbus, OH; and Shelly Perry of Columbus, OH.
A visitation will be held on Monday January 9th from 5-7 pm at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A Christian Service will be held at 7pm.
