Danny Ray Strank, 62, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Strank was born June 10, 1947 in Huntington, WV and moved to Vero Beach, FL in 1999 from Palm Bay, FL.
Mr. Strank served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam. He was a graduate of Rollins College in Orlando, FL.
He was the owner and operator of Dan Strank Computer Professional in Vero Beach and was the former owner of Data Reliability in Melbourne, FL for 15 years.
He was a part time Professor at Brevard Community College in the Computer Science Department in the 90's. Mr. Strank was also a volunteer for the Indian River Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Carol Strank of Vero Beach; son Andy Strank of Melbourne, FL; daughter Becky Seiler of Spring, TX; step-daughter Kellie Gergely of Tallahassee, FL; brother Fred Strank of Melbourne, FL; sister Frances Bryant of Melbourne, FL; and two grandchildren.
Services: A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
