Darlene Nancy Sowers, 62, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Sowers was born November 19, 1947 in Detroit, MI and moved to Vero Beach in 2000 from Canton, MI.
She was an Administrative Assistant for Vista Property Management. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Sebastian.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Mel Sowers of Vero Beach, sons Patrick Sowers of Vero Beach and David Sowers of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, brother Ken Christensen of Temperance, MI, sisters Cheryl Haas of Livonia, MI and Deborah Swolfs of Commerce, MI and three grandchildren.
Services: The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Monday, January 25, 2010 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
