Darryl Wayne Young, 57, of Lauderhill, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2026.

Darryl proudly served as a Customs and Border Protection Officer with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, dedicating his career to protecting and serving his country with integrity, professionalism, and honor. He carried out his duties with pride and a deep commitment to the safety and security of his community.

Beyond his career, Darryl was known for his strength of character, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He had a steady presence, a kind spirit, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be remembered for his dedication, his warmth, and the respect he showed to everyone he encountered.

He is survived by his loving mother, Rose; and his sisters, Susan and Tammy. He also leaves behind extended family members, colleagues, and friends who will cherish his memory and carry his legacy forward.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Young.

Darryl will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
