Dave Walter Wetherington, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Wetherington was born July 21, 1922 in Jasper, FL and moved to Vero Beach 12 years ago from Chuluota, FL.
He was granted his BS in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Florida at Gainesville, FL and was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy. He had worked for the US Air Force at Cape Canaveral, FL for 25 years prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Janice Wetherington of Vero Beach, daughter Randi Dempsey of Vero Beach, Jeffrey Wetherington of Bridgeton, NJ, and five grandchildren.
Services: A graveside service is planned for 11 AM Monday, May 12, 2008 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL.
