David Hay Gaetz, 54, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Gaetz was born August 25, 1955 in Lakewood, OH and moved to Vero Beach 30 years ago from Lake Wales, FL.
He had worked for HBS Glass Company in Vero Beach prior to his illness and also grew Bonsai Plants.
Survivors include his son David R. Gaetz of Mt. Dora, FL; daughter Becky Gaetz of Lake Wales, FL; brothers Robert Gaetz of Chapman, KS and Ted Gaetz of Pensacola, FL; sister Jo Dupuis of St. Petersburg, FL; longtime companion Cheryl Weidner; and several grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Robert Gaetz and a sister Carol Benson.
Services: A private service will be arranged by the family.
