David Arthur McMiniment died May 19, 2011 at VNA Hospice in Vero Beach, Florida.
Dave was born September 9, 1934 in Waterloo, Iowa. Lived in Atlanta 24 years before moving to Vero Beach, FL 15 years ago.
Attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After 37 years, retired as southeast regional sales manager of Brown Shoe Company; past president of the Southeastern Shoe Travelers Association.
Survivors include: Patricia McMiniment, wife of 55 years; sons Jim and wife Teresa McMiniment, Jerry McMiniment, John McMiniment all of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter: Tricia McMiniment, Philadelphia. Preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Ellis of Dubuque, Iowa.
Dave was an active member of the Community Church in Vero Beach, FL and was an avid golfer and member of the Vero Beach Country Club.
