David C. Patenaude, 78, a lifetime resident of Winchester, NH before moving to Vero Beach, FL, in 2008, passed away on January 27, 2016 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.

David was the son of Norbert and Jessie (DeBell) Patenaude, he was born in Winchester, NH, on June 4, 1937. He was a 1955 graduate of Thayer High School in Winchester. After graduation he entered the United States Air Force and served in Ulm, Germany as a radar operator until his honorable discharge in 1959.

He married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Miner on September 15, 1956 in Ulm, Germany. David was a long time Union Carpenter of local 108, Springfield, Massachusetts for over 30 years. His interests include camping at Wakeda Campground in Hampton Falls, NH, fishing and spending time with his family and especially his beloved grandchildren. Gramp's favorite recipe cook book was one of his pride and joys that he had shared with all of his grandchildren, Sunday dinners at his home were the highlight of his week.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Miner), his children, Michael and wife, Mary, Deb Logan, Diane Wallis, Jill Patterson and husband, Steve. His beloved grandchildren, Ranee Croteau and husband, Trevor, Ed Dingman and his wife, Sara, Mike Patenaude, Joe Hodgman, Jamie Patenaude, Robert Dingman and wife, Sarah, Leanne Rhoades and her husband, Trevor, Ryan Patterson, Allyson Logan, Nicholas Patterson and wife, Katie, Matthew Patenaude and Adam Logan, a sister, Linda Kendall, sixteen great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held in Winchester, NH, at a later date.
