Delilah B. Thomas , 84, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, December 13, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Thomas was born December 1, 1926 in Gilbertville, MA. She was a resident of Vero Beach for the last 6 years, coming from Inverness, FL.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Thomas worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Broward County Police Department.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Stuart; sons, Alan R. Smith of Vero Beach, FL and Lyle Smith of Lackawanna, NY.
A memorial service will be held on January 8, 2011 at the Lakewood Village Clubhouse, Vero Beach, FL., at 1:00pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer at 900 27th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
