D. Faye Regets, age 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Ft. Pierce. She had been a resident of Okeechobee for the past 26 years and attended Okeechobee Christian Church.
She was the youngest and the last surviving of nine children.
Her interests included cooking, fishing, reading and travel.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Ashe Marlowe.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, John S. Regets; daughters, Della Faye Waldron of Okeechobee, Menla (Fred) Marlowe of Lebanon, Ky.; grandsons, Wesley Marlowe of Kevil, Ky., Daniel Marlowe of Bowling Green, Ky.; granddaughter, Andrea Marlowe of Chicago, Ill.; great-grandson, Stone Marlowe of Kevil, Ky.; step-daughter, Mary Beth Rodd of Boca Raton; step-grandson, Mark Rodd of Chuluota, Fla.; step-granddaughter, Carol Rodd of N.C.; step-great-granddaughter, Hayden Grace Rodd of Chuluota, Fla.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, Dec. 27, from 10-12:00 pm with the ser vice at noon at Buxton-Seawinds Chapel at Abundant Blessings Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
