Diane Marie Bonner of Vero Beach, FL passed away at home at the age of 82 on Thursday February 18, 2021. Diana was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 19, 1939 to Adelaide (Ann) Austin.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Markuski and son-in-law Andy Markuski; siblings, sister Sharon Sparks, and brother, Donald Lawrence.

Diane was blessed in life to have 20 nieces and nephews who she loved.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband Daniel Bonner; mother Ann Austin; sister Patricia Ashcraft, and brother Ronald Lawrence.

Diane and her husband spent most of their lives in Walled Lake, Michigan and then moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1995. After retiring from Pontiac Motors, she and Daniel moved from the cold of Michigan to the sunshine of Florida. They were very involved in their local clubs over the years including The American Legion and Eagles. Diana was an avid sports fan who enjoyed

football, basketball, racing and golf. She was also very social, loved to visit and laugh with friends. She and Dan loved to travel and visited most of the United States, they really enjoyed their annual trip to Las Vegas and visiting family in ElPaso, Texas. She had a great love of animals and was always adopting strays. Most recently her Basset Hound Henry and cat Buster-Bonner filled her heart.

She will be interned along with her husband at Riverside Cemetery in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan where she and Dan grew up, met, and married. She will spend eternity alongside her mom, grandmother, and uncle. A celebration of life will be held in Sault Saint Marie in July.

Her life-long charity was St. Jude's, we welcome donations in her name.
