Dolores T. Duffy, 78, of Ft. Pierce, FL passed away Monday December 29, 2014 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

She was born April 27, 1936 in Queens, New York , the daughter of the late Bart and Catherine Silvani. She had been a resident of Ft. Pierce since 1994, coming from Dix Hills, NY. Ms. Duffy worked for Citi Bank in Plainview, NY for over 20 years before her retirement.

Ms. Duffy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Eugene J. Duffy; one son, Eugene J. Duffy II of Ft. Pierce, daughters, Lee Ann Lorito of Vero Beach and Kristen Duffy of Port St. Lucie; two grandchildren, Michael and Jacquelyn Lorito of Vero Beach; two sisters, Connie Denaro of Huntington, NY and Barbara Grignon of Vero Beach and one brother, Robert Silvani of North Palm Beach. She was predeceased by her grandson, Cameron Duffy.

The family will receive friends from 3-5pm and from 7-9 pm on Monday, January 5th at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A prayer service will be held at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach, FL. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude's Children Hospital.
