Don R. Maddox, age 81, died at home on Saturday, April 30, 2011. He was a resident of Okeechobee for 17 years and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.
His hobbies included mowing and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Don R. Maddox II and sons-in-law, Jim Campbell and George Manon.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Janat; sons, Steven (Crystal) Maddox of Indiana, Jesse (Jessica) Maddox of Texas, Mike Sizemore of Florida; daughters, Susan Maddox of Tenn., Debra (Carl) Jastrembski of Fla., Linda Campbell of Fla., Denise (Mark) Large of Ky., Sharon (Kelly) Sizemore, Robin Manon, Patricia (Richard) Lewis, all of Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean (Joe) Adkins of Fla. and Indiana, and Geraldine (Joe) True of Indiana.
The family will hold a private celebration of Dons life.
If friends desire, they may plant a tree in Dons honor.
